Universidad San Sebastián (USS) is a leading private institution in Chile, serving more than 50,000 students. Based in Santiago, it has campuses in four cities: Santiago (Bellavista, Ciudad Empresarial, and Los Leones), Concepción (Las Tres Pascualas and Paicaví), Valdivia, and Puerto Montt.

Founded in 1989 in Concepción, USS is a young university inspired by Christian Humanism, offering education across a wide range of disciplines. It provides 57 undergraduate programs through 9 academic Schools, with courses available in both morning and evening formats. Additionally, USS offers 112 postgraduate programs, including 32 Master’s degrees and 10 Doctorates, with nearly 5,400 graduate students.

The university is accredited for five years in Institutional Management, Undergraduate Teaching, and Community Engagement. This accreditation ensures the recognition of its degrees and access to public funding, including for international students. As part of the Unique Admission System, USS guarantees a transparent and fair admissions process.

USS is strongly committed to student support: 95% of its students receive financial assistance, and 67% benefit from internal scholarships.
