Research Meeting: Translating Cell Biology

 

Speaker: Franck Pérez, researcher at the Curie Institute in Paris, France.

 

Dr. Franck Perez is Research Director at the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and group leader in the Cell Biology Section of the Curie Institute. His group studies intracellular organization and trafficking, with an important focus on the development of new methods and tools for cell biology studies.

His research line focuses on two aspects of cell dynamics; the Golgi apparatus in secretory and retrograde traffic pathways; and the regulation of microtubule dynamics.

His work is also involved in the development of novel tools for the detection of antibodies, which is why he has recently created a new platform for therapeutic antibodies. Author of more than 60 scientific articles and four patents.
